The move is nearly done and it's beginning to look like home. My bedroom is a real mess, but I'm struggling with a furniture change that I'm not happy with. I have a huge dresser but I also want my desk in my room. My sons didn't think I could have both so we changed dressers. Mine is a tall and wide one with doors and drawers. His is just the typical short wide one. I want my big one back so I'm going to do some measuring to see if it will work. This will be a good place to walk because it's slightly hilly which will give me a good workout. Hopefully by the weekend my knee will be well enough to start.
Work is blah. I dislike my job more and more every day. Last week went by quick, which was good, but now here we are in another week. Not sure if I blogged about this or not but I have tendonitis in my elbow and something going on with my knee, too. My knee feels the same as my elbow, but she says my knee is probably arthritis unless it starts clicking or if my knee goes out on me. It has started that now, too, so I need to make an appointment with the orthopedist that they referred me to and see what's going on. I was hoping the pain would be gone by now in both my knee and elbow but it's still there. As long as I take the Naproxen I was prescribed it's manageable. As soon as I skip one it's back to hurting as it did in the beginning. She did say it would be a couple weeks before I see a difference. It's been about that so maybe soon...
I'm having fun with the Nextflix movie stream thing. Rather than having them send the DVDs to the house I'm just using the disc that allows me to watch them on the big screen TV. I watched a really good movie about the life of poet John Keats, and I watched a really cute movie called Lost in Austen, about a girl who was obsessed with Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. I saw they’re making a new version of it in 2011. I have a feeling they will Americanize it like they did P.S. I Love You, which will be disappointing. I would love to see them hire all English actors and do it well.
From looking at the "Dashboard" it looks like I can create a new blog within this one (or something like that), so I think I will make a complete separate one for my weight loss journey and see how that goes.
For those of you who pray, please keep my son in your prayers. He is having some medical problems and I am very scared...especially since I'm having a hard time getting him to go to the doctor.
